A typical listing over at HorseNet Horse Rescue:
| IVY - 4 Year Old Thoroughbred |
 |
4 year old Thoroughbred mare has a twisted front leg. She is very sweet and would make a wonderful companion to anyone that just loves to be with a horse.
Ivy came to us from a breeding farm that did realize that she would never going to be able to race due to her front legs being twisted. We were told that if she had been born on the east coast instead of the midwest - that surgery could have fixed the problem. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Ivy is very sweet and having a wonderful time out on 30 acres with her herd of companions.
