Job Description:

-Provide IT support over 50 users at government facility in multiple offices using different IT technologies. (Microsoft Domain Technologies)
-Provide WAN support or assistance for over 200 users as needed.
-Author Automated Information System Security Plan for IT systems.
-Support Government Security Manager with enforcing AIS security regulations. Assist government security specialists with reviewing AIS plans, conducting AIS reviews of contractor sites.
-Interface with users & provide desktop support and analysis to government customers when needed. Conduct user training sessions. Ability to present ideas to senior managers and large groups in a professional manner.
-Build and maintain Windows servers & Exchange Email servers. Maintain internal in-house firewall systems. Security knowledge a plus.
-Maintain connectivity with remote sites via wide area network. Maintain detailed audit trails of all systems for up to five years. Primary lead on deploying additional sites on enterprise WAN.
-Occasional CONUS travel is required for this position.
-Candidate must be willing to attend & complete training courses that will are specific to the customer’s hardware software needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a US citizen and have SSBI
-This position requires the candidate to have at minimum a High School Diploma with Associates Degree, or two years post secondary equivalent or professional experience in DoD / Military computer support.
-Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft networking technologies or Linux/ Unix Administration and the following: Microsoft Management , Database Administration, experience with routing or VPN technologies, NSA approved Type 1 encryption systems experience preferred.
-Desired candidate should be familiar with government certification and accreditation procedures and able to document systems and complete system accreditation papers as needed.
-Familiarity with JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, JOINT DODIIS or 8500 series is desired.
-In addition to experience, Industry Certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, MCP or AS or BS in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.
-Candidate may be required to provide academic transcripts and or relevant work history documentation on request.
