Job Description:
Calspan Corporation is in search of an Aircraft Mechanic for their Flight Research Department located in Patuxent River, MD. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining & modifying jet, turboprop and propeller airplanes given only general instructions for new lines of work or special assignments. Ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate small, non-complex parts is a must. Other responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to launching, inspecting, and recovering jets, turboprop and reciprocating aircrafts. Some travel is required. Candidate must possess an A&P License and have some experience working with the Saab340 aircraft is preferred 4+ years of related military aircraft maintenance experience desired.
