HorseNet Horse Rescue is a certified 501 (c)(3) nonprofit horse rescue and rehabilitation facility with two locations in Maryland.
They DO NOT sell horses, but facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of those animals in their care.
They do have some permanent residents, but strive to adopt out as many animals as possible to loving informed homes. They are 100% volunteer run and operate solely on donations.
They specialize in the care of seniors and blind horses, but will accept animals, when space allows, surrendered by private owners or through state animal control facilities in any condition from any location.

| State Highway Administration (SHA) |
 |
SOMDJobs.com supports the Maryland Highway Administration (MHA) by participating in the MHA Adopt-A-Highway program.
State Highway Administration (SHA) leads the crusade against roadway litter by dedicating its highway maintenance crews and hired inmate crews at an annual cost of more than $6 million. Add to that the amount that the State's dedicated Adopt-A-Highway crews save the State. The careless actions of Maryland's motorists endanger the environment, diminish the economic marketability of our beautiful State, mar its scenic beauty and create additional costs for Maryland taxpayers.
SHA's programs such as Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) and the Partnership Planting Program assist volunteers in beautifying their neighborhoods. The Adopt-A-Highway Program is seeking new volunteer groups; more than 1,100 miles are available for "adoption."
For more information on the campaign or any of these programs, please call SHA at 1-800-323-6742 (MSHA), or log onto our website at www.marylandroad.com |
